Financial Accountant, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin

My client is seeking to appoint a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.

Candidates will need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience either within Industry or Practice.

The client is happy to look at someone that is looking for a first time move from Practice into Industry.

Experience using SAP or any other ERP system would be a distinct advantage

A good working knowledge of Excel is required for this role.

• Managing key aspects of the P&L overhead and Balance Sheet
• Completion of varying reports and analysis for Head office Germany
• Leading Year-end audit
• Leading tax reporting including Pillar II compliance
• Assisting with preparation of statutory accounts
• Preparation of and analysis of Balance sheet matrices
• Review, improve and drive on-going improvements in tracking and reporting processes for the business.
• Support the budgeting and re-forecasting process for company overheads with Controlling department
• Key point of contact on Finance systems
• Ad-hoc administration assignments or project work as required
• Support UK and Ireland Finance Director
• Support or lead on common UK and Ireland topics
• Key liaison and support to other departments and areas of the business.
• Other adhoc duties that may arise

Key Skills:

• Professional Accountancy qualification or on route to qualification
• 1-2 years relevant industry or practice experience
• Be resilient and flexible, with the ability to cope with change in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to have a good attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Excellent IT skills including MS Office suite with a strong preference for SAP knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
