Client Profile

Our client is a well established business with a new requirement to recruit a recently qualified accountant due to an internal promotion within the team. This role will support the Financial Controller across all areas of finance.

The Role: Financial Accountant

This role is a general role within a busy Finance function of an established organisation. Reporting directly to the FC, some of the duties involve:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts with analysis of results and commentary
• Manage fixed asset register
• Bank reconciliations
• Oversight of AP, AR and payroll
• Support in the management and development of the Finance team
• Review and optimise finance systems
• Ad-hoc projects

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have the following skills or experiences:

• Recently qualified accountant
• Relevant experience in a broad role in a Finance team
• Highly analytical
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicator
• Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
