Financial Accountant

We are currently seeking an exceptional Standalone - Financial Accountant to join our client's finance team. This is a unique opportunity to apply your strategic insight and help shape the future of the organization.

Role Overview

As the sole Accountant, you will take full ownership of the finance function. You will manage everything from daily data entry and payroll to month-end reporting and tax compliance. This role is perfect for a self-starter who enjoys variety and wants to be the go-to person for all things financial within the business.

1. Financial Management & Reporting

• Prepare and present accurate Monthly Management Accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow).
• Maintain the General Ledger, ensuring all reconciliations are completed timely.
• Manage the year-end process and act as the primary point of contact for external auditors/tax advisors.

• Processing multiple invoices, managing payment runs.
• Bank Reconciliations, Daily monitoring of cash positions.

1. Budgeting & Compliance

• Develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
• Manage all tax filings, including VAT returns, CIS (if applicable), and corporate tax prep.
• Ensure the business remains compliant with current financial regulations and accounting standards.
