Financial Accountant

This niche international pharmaceutical firm seeks a Qualified Accountant to support the UK executive team and manage a small finance team. Based in Central London, duties will include:

• Prepare the company's monthly management accounts in accordance with the Group's accounting time-lines
• Prepare the company's revisions to "in-year" forecasts
• Provide ad hoc reports to Directors
• Maintain, control and take ownership of the year- end accounts preparation / audit / and annual financial statements
• Supervise and liaise with the book-keeper over monthly accounting and book-keeping routines
• Involvement in detailed budgeting, in particular with the company's marketing teams and the support and administration functions
• Continue to develop systems, processes and controls
• Building and maintaining data within spreadsheets/databases
• Liaison with Auditors and other key professionals

Skills:

• Professional Qualification
• Detailed knowledge of current accounting standards, including IFRS is a must
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Corporation tax
• Strong data manipulation skills, advanced user of Excel.
• Experience of accounting systems
• Proven ability to work to time-lines
• Absolute attention to detail
• Excellent written English language skills
• Ability to inform and influence via reports and communication
