Tasks:
Lead end-to-end strategic group-wide initiatives in Finance Services to enhance efficiency, scalability, and quality of accounting processes
Utilize professional project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and monitor projects
Drive the standardization and harmonization of finance processes across multiple entities and countries by taking responsibility to drive alignment and successful execution, leveraging your in-depth understanding of finance operations
Manage transition and carve-in projects, transferring finance operations to Finance Services while ensuring smooth implementation,business continuity and high customer satisfaction
Act as a trusted partner for senior stakeholders in Finance, IT, and other corporate functions
Facilitating stakeholder communication and decision-making, ensuring transparent reporting across all stakeholders and moderating discussions between central and local teams
Deliver strategic rollout projects across the group taking responsibility to drive alignment, reach important milestones and successful project execution
Track project performance, report on progress to senior management as well as identifying potential project risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution of issues
Hands-on supporting rollout-related topics from requirements specification to harmonization, standardization, communication and change
Candidates must have
In-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable processes
7+ years finance transformation/project management
Leadership of complex international projects
Candidates nice to have
Consultancy background in finance transformation
Knowledge of Hypatos and Redwood
Experience in Shared Services environments
Required skills
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 7 years of experience in finance transformation, project management, or Shared Services environments
Sound experience in leadership of complex project workstreams in an international environment
Proven track record in managing impactful projects with management attention and a high level of commitment and ability to work under pressure
Experience in leading successful transitions within international organizations
In-depth knowledge of finance processes, particularly in Accounts Payable
Proven expertise in digitalization and automation technologies (Hypatos and Redwood knowledge are valuable assets)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with senior management, customers and operational teams to drive change
High ability to professionally deal with conflicts and show the respective stamina and have very good presentation skills
Highest customer focus with proven skills for stakeholder alignment and problem solving, especially on senior management level
Solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability
Ability to think conceptually while understanding complicated and complex problem
Fluent in both English and German
Willingness to travel while enjoying flexible work concepts
