Finance Supervisor_METT Barcelona

Sunset Hospitality Group is a leading multinational in the hospitality sector, operating more than 87 venues across 26 countries, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, beach clubs, nightclubs, and gyms.

As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for a Finance Supervisor to join the pre-opening team at Hotel METT Barcelona, a newly renovated property set to reopen this summer.

The Finance Supervisor will play a key role in establishing and overseeing the hotel's financial processes, supporting the Director of Finance, and ensuring compliance with local and corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily accounting operations, including revenue reporting, invoice posting, bank reconciliations, and petty cash control.
• Support the implementation of financial systems and internal controls during the pre-opening phase.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, Spanish regulations, and USALI standards.
• Coordinate and review financial reporting, including daily income reports, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow statements, and KPI dashboards.
• Oversee and support junior finance team members, providing training and guidance as needed.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Liaise with auditors and support internal and external audit processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects in finance and procurement

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in finance or accounting roles, ideally within the hospitality industry.
• Solid understanding of hotel accounting standards (USALI) and Spanish accounting practices.
• Proficiency in financial systems such as Opera, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
