Finance Manager Wexford

Purcelloleary Recruitment on behalf of our client is seeking a talented Finance Manager to provide maternity leave cover. If you're a numbers enthusiast with a flair for financial management and are ready to step into a temporary leadership role, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the finance team's (3 direct reports) daily operations, ensuring the continuity of financial processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of statutory financial statements and liaise with auditors on audit & corporate taxation
• Manage Monthly management accounts and monthly/weekly variance analysis & operational KPIs
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to maintain stability and compliance.
• Support the organization's strategic initiatives and decision-making with insightful financial guidance
• Ensure regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met - PAYE, VAT, CT, CSO, CRO returns
• Ensure all financial activities adhere to company policies, standards, and government regulations.

Qualifications

• Accountancy Qualification or similar.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in finance management or a senior finance role.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial software; advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to maintain team cohesion and liaise effectively.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
• Detail-oriented approach and dedication to maintaining financial accuracy.
