Job Description

Location: London (Old Street office, 3 days/week)

Join a high-growth, mission-driven tech company that's transforming the future of work.

Join Blink's mission to revolutionise workplace experience!

We're not just closing the digital divide; we're reconnecting distributed organisations, enabling seamless communication, and re-engaging employees like never before. Blink, a mobile-first employee experience platform, puts everything employees need right in their hands. With teams in Boston, London, and Sydney, we're making waves worldwide, partnering with industry leaders like Domino's, JD Sports, and McDonald's.

Who you are
  • 2-3 years post-qualified in CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a similar role (ideally in a B2B SaaS environment), required to wear many finance hats in a fast-paced organisation
  • Proven ability in establishing finance systems and processes
  • A self-starter and proactive in getting things done with a high level of attention to detail
  • You value autonomy, with the ability to drive impactful improvements
  • You demonstrate strong organisational and prioritisation skills, even/especially when under pressure
  • You're willing to roll up your sleeves and get into the detail - but also thrive in both tactical and strategic situations
What the job involves
  • Blink is growing rapidly, and we are looking for an ambitious, high-energy finance manager who aims for a fast-track promotion to FC within 18 months.
  • To support our growth, we're building the finance team where you will be responsible for creating the best processes and implementing effective data-powered tools in the industry.
  • You will report directly to Blink's Finance Director and will have high autonomy to lead a best-in-class monthly close and reporting process, through solid controls and efficient processes.
  • Financial Operations & Reporting: Drive monthly close processes and management reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness as we scale.
  • Process Excellence & Controls: Proactively identify problems and opportunities to standardise and improve processes, embedding a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Compliance: Lead statutory year-end accounts preparations and regulatory filings.
  • Payroll & Expense Management: Oversee payroll operations and employee expense management, ensuring full compliance with company policies.
  • Scaling Excellence: Build robust financial infrastructure to maintain operational efficiency and accuracy as the company scales.
  • Financial Robustness: Implement best-in-class financial controls and audit readiness protocols.
Why Blink?
  • You will have the opportunity to be part of something impactful, large-scale, and meaningful.
  • Most importantly, you'll work for a company with a strong purpose, with an ambitious and supportive team embarking on a journey most start-ups can only dream of!

Benefits include:

  • Competitive salary - and equity in the company
  • A quirky, spacious, natural light-filled office in London
  • 25 days a year off (plus public holidays!)
  • Everything you need to feel good: massages, weekly HIIT and yoga classes
  • Private healthcare, Ride2Work, pension scheme

At Blink, we're committed to creating an inclusive and diverse culture where our people feel they truly belong. We value and respect individual differences, so all applications will receive fair and equal consideration without regard to ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, nationality, disability, or age.
