Job Description

Overview

Permanent and Part Time - 21 hours per week (specific days/hours negotiable). Salary - £30,000 - £36,000 per annum (£50,000 - £60,000 per annum, pro rata). The normal place of work will be an agreed Aquatics GB office. Aquatics GB operates an Agile Working Policy allowing some flexibility to work from the office/centre and from home.

About the role

Aquatics GB is the National Governing Body for Swimming, Diving, Artistic Swimming, Water Polo and Open Water in Great Britain and we are seeking a Finance Lead to provide financial leadership for Aquatics GB, overseeing the financial operations and reporting to ensure the organisation's long-term financial health.

Requirements & qualifications

The post holder will be a qualified accountant with sufficient experience to deliver the requirements of the role and experience of working in sport or the not-for-profit sector.
Proven track record in strategic financial leadership and the ability to provide support to the Management Accountant and wider Finance Team.
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, both internal and external; ability to work on their own and as part of a team with a flexible approach to work; and ability to work under pressure.
Experience of implementing a finance system would be beneficial.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with staff at all levels; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and finance systems.
