The Company

A high-quality, Private Equity backed SaaS business preparing for a potential exit in the next 12-18 months. With outstanding customer retention rates, this product-led, fast moving, and commercially ambitious business is sharpening its financial and data foundations to support the next phase of growth.

The Role

A broad, impactful and very hands on CFO role working closely with the CEO to drive commercial strategy and operational discipline. Note - first time Finance Director candidates will be considered.

Key areas include:

  • Long-term planning, goal setting, and financial leadership across UK and US operations.
  • Ownership of accounting, board reporting, compliance, and key advisor relationships.
  • Partnering with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to optimise SaaS pricing, packaging, and discounting.
  • Leading the next financing cycle, including pitch materials, modelling, and due diligence.
  • Building advanced models and forecasts tied to core SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn).
  • Implementing dashboards and hands on analysis to improve visibility of churn, NRR, acquisition efficiency, product usage, and channel performance.
  • Overseeing the data function and setting the commercial metrics that guide decision making.

This role is highly hands on - expect to be deep in the data as often as you're operating at board level.

The Candidate
  • A North West based, commercially astute ACA qualified accountant. An earlier background in Transaction Services or Corporate Finance would be useful (not essential)
  • Equally confident operating at board level and rolling up your sleeves to build models, interrogate datasets, and drive insight.
  • Pragmatic, data driven, and able to balance growth with financial discipline.
  • A collaborative partner with the credibility to influence across the business.
  • Comfortable in a lean environment and confident navigating PE, growth, and exit preparation
