Finance Director

Salary: £70,000Location: Southeast Birmingham

An established organisation is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead its financial strategy, oversee all financial operations and ensure long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Drive digital transformation and modern financial systems.
• Oversee management accounts, year-end statements, budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure full regulatory and statutory compliance.
• Manage external audit relationships and maintain strong governance and controls.
• Provide clear financial insight to senior leadership.
• Deputise for senior finance leadership when required.
• Full-time, on-site role across multiple locations.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent).
• Strong senior financial leadership experience.
• Proven expertise in financial management, reporting and controls.
• Experience producing management accounts and leading audits.
• Strong financial systems and IT knowledge.
• Excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills.
