Finance Director

We are working with an amazing charitable organisation who are on the lookout for their next Finance Director.

Your New Role
Reportingto the CEO, this position plays a central role in shaping andguiding the finance function. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountantwith a proven record of leading and transforming large finance teams. Theybring strong technical acumen across management accounting, financialreporting, accounts receivable and payable, treasury, process improvement, andinternal controls. The role is set within a period of significant financetransformation, requiring someone with both strategic vision and operationaleffectiveness. While charity sector reporting experience is advantageous, it isnot essential. What sets the successful candidate apart is their ability tocommunicate clearly, build trust, and influence senior stakeholders across theorganisation.
What you'll need to succeed

• Full professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Extensive background in financial accounting, with a strong record of progression and impact
• Skilled in preparing statutory accounts and coordinating external audit processes from start to finish
• Proven experience leading and shaping large finance teams within complex organisational structures
• Demonstrates success in driving finance team evolution and implementing improvements in systems and workflows
