About Our Client

My client is one of the UK's largest housing groups and a leading developer.

Responsibilities
  • Provide financial analysis on potential Development activities and potential land sales.
  • Provide and clearly communicate the current financial position and impact on future forecasts for all Development activity.
  • Ability to challenge complex project appraisals and work with the business to continuously review performance of development projects. Run project reviews at completion.
  • Support land teams in writing and reviewing business cases, making sure they meet the Group's objectives and ensuring Development teams have access to sound financial support.
  • Support FD in preparing presentations and papers for Senior Management and Boards.
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis process, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate with various departments to drive financial performance improvements.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Qualifications

A successful Finance Business Partner Manager should have:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA/ICAEW/equivalent).
  • Appropriate proven experience in a Housebuilding financial position.
  • Extensive experience of using Microsoft Excel to provide business information.
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Track record of making improvements and focusing on innovation in previous roles
