Working at the heart of a fast scaling organisation, we enable our project teams to deliver safely, efficiently, and profitably.In this context, we're looking for a Finance Business Partner - Projects to partner with our Senior Commercial Finance Manager and project leadership teams. This is a key role providing expert financial insight, driving project profitability, and ensuring robust financial performance across multi million pound, long term customer and R&D projects. We'll need you to: Lead financial ownership of project EACs, budgets and forecasts, ensuring assumptions are robust and risks/opportunities clearly articulated. Drive accurate project cash flow management, identifying variances early and helping project teams maximise revenue and cash collection. Oversee project POC accounting (IFRS15), monthly reporting, and financial performance reviews to enable informed decision making. Provide financial input into bids, customer variations, pricing and costings to improve revenue and cash outcomes. A full role description is available on request. Essential Skills & Qualifications Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong MS Excel capability; SAP experience is beneficial. Strong experience in project financial control for long term, multi million pound programmes, with proven application of IFRS15. Skilled in presenting financial results to senior leaders, clearly explaining variances, risks and opportunities, and influencing performance against targets. Experienced in preparing full project EAC budgets and forecasts, ensuring robust assumptions, clear ownership, and visibility of risks and opportunities. Able to constructively challenge, guide and provide financial leadership to project and business partners.
