I am currently working with a professional service-based client, based in Blackburn, who are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant within their finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and fast-paced environment where your contributions will play a key role in the smooth operation of financial and administrative functions. Your new role
- Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate accounting records, assisting with payroll processes, and managing data within the SAGE 200 system.
- You will also be involved in preparing financial information for the Financial Controller, handling invoice systems, and liaising with franchisees to resolve queries.
- Additionally, you will help maintain client records, respond to telephone queries, and support the preparation of reports and management information.
- This role offers a diverse range of duties and the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of FCA compliance and internal procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Packages is essential; Sage experience is desirable.
- You should be highly organised, capable of working independently, and possess strong communication and customer service skills.
- A flexible and enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work towards and meet deadlines
- Full-time permanent opportunity, Monday-Friday 09:00:17:00.
