Finance Assistant, 3 months, hybrid, Leamington Spa

Your new company
This company is in the education sector and looking to bring in a temporary accounts assistant to help with the recent changes to VAT laws applying to schools.
Your new role
This role will have two purposes, the first being to reclaim the VAT from applicable invoices over the last few months, which there will be roughly £170k worth of invoices to go through, so someone with a keen eye for detail and experience with VAT would be ideal. After this task is complete, you will then help the Accounts Payable team to get the accounts into order as the team has been understaffed for a little while now.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience in a UK based accounts role, preferably having experience in specifically Accounts Payable too. A keen eye for detail and knowledge of VAT on invoices would also be useful. You will also want a 3 month temporary role with no chance of it going permanent.
