Sheffield DocFest is seeking applications from UK based professionals in film programming, filmmaking, criticism, acquisitions, commissioning or development to join our team of Film Programme Advisers for Sheffield DocFest 2026.

Responsibilities

View and assess films submitted to Sheffield DocFest 2026.
Make recommendations to the Creative Director about films to be considered for the Festival programme.

Qualifications

UK based, emerging or established professionals with experience in film programming, filmmaking, criticism, acquisitions, commissioning or development.
Self motivated and able to work independently as part of an international cohort of advisers.
