Field Service Technician

Job Role & Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for Service Technicians to join a growing Technical Services team, supporting customers across a field-based territory. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands on work, solving problems and delivering excellent customer service. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, even if they do not have previous drinks dispense experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service and maintain drinks dispense and cooling equipment.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Respond to breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Complete equipment installations at customer sites.
• Provide customers with guidance on equipment operation and best practice.
• Build strong, professional customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate service records and job reports.
• Manage van stock, tools and spare parts.
• Work in accordance with Health & Safety requirements.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Strong practical and mechanical aptitude.
• A genuine interest in fixing, repairing and understanding how things work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A positive and professional approach.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Flexibility to work across a field-based territory.
• Basic IT skills for completing reports and updating systems.
• A full UK driving licence.
• The ability to carry out physical installation work and work comfortably in a customer facing environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Previous field-based service or engineering experience.
• Mechanical or electrical fault-finding experience.
• Experience working with customer facing equipment.
• Strong fault diagnosis and repair skills.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
• A willingness to learn and develop technically.
• Experience working independently across multiple customer sites.
