Field Service Technician

A career opportunity has arisen for Field Services Technicians based in Westmeath, Wicklow and Kilkenny.

Main tasks and responsibilities include:

• Collect samples from multiple domestic sites and water treatment plants
• Document on site data using handheld device
• Meeting agreed targets for the number of samples collected per week
• Accurately recording sample data in the field using the supplied resources
• Transporting samples following correct procedures to designated location
• Keep accurate records of samples collected and all relevant requirements
• Communicate with the customer regarding sampling requirements
• Adhere to specific protocol for entering premises and collecting samples
• Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements including PPE usage
• Communicate with customers, ensuring the site specific protocol requirements are fully understood and are completed in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure resources and equipment are prepared, calibrated and ready for use
• Adhere to the highest quality and technical standards at all stages of the process

Company vehicle provided.

Daily allowance in addition to salary.

Full training given.

Requirements:

• Good Leaving Certificate.
• Full clean driving licence
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Self motivated and ability to work on own initiative
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills and act with integrity
• Previous driving experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Appointment to this role is subject to the candidate's eligibility to work in Ireland.
