About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Equipment Engineer to join a leading global organisation specialising in advanced materials engineering solutions for the semiconductor and display manufacturing industries. This role is ideal for mechanically or electrically focused engineers who thrive on hands on troubleshooting and solving complex electro mechanical issues.

You will provide onsite installation, maintenance, and technical support for highly advanced equipment. To ensure your success, you will receive an extensive 8-week international training programme at one of our global facilities before transitioning to the 24/7 shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic, plasma, gas, and electro mechanical systems.
  • Installation & Qualification: Install, qualify, and repair complex electrical and mechanical systems onsite.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex technical issues using digital analytics tools and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics.
  • Customer Support: Provide onsite technical assistance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of health and safety at all times.
Requirements Essential Criteria
  • Right to Work: Full, unrestricted working rights in Ireland (Stamp 4 or EU passport).
  • Licence: Full, valid driving licence.
  • Availability: Ability to work a 24/7 four cycle shift rotation and travel internationally for initial training.
Desirable Criteria
  • Education: Technical qualification or equivalent hands on industry experience.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read schematics and use hand tools/digital multimeters.
  • Experience: Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum systems, or thermodynamics.
  • Core Skills: Strong communication, problem solving, and basic proficiency in MS Office.
