Field Service Engineer (Field/Mobile Mechanic/Vehicle Technician)

Location: Worksop

Working Hours: 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: A£31,000 - A£40,500 Starting Salary

Role Overview:
Field Service Engineer role available in a market leader of forklift trucks. This role is suited for those looking for a field-based position, with ample training, overtime opportunities, and clear progression routes. Ideal candidates will have experience with cars, HGVs, agriculture, motorbikes, plant equipment, or similar. You must demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally with engine diagnostic and basic electrical skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown coverage on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis.
2. Provide reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area.
3. Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
4. Ensure spares are placed in the van overnight.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Experience with cars, HGVs, agriculture, motorbikes, plant equipment, or similar.
