Field Service Engineer

We are recruiting for a Service Engineerto join our client's experienced field service team, supporting customers across theMidlands area of the UK, with occasional travel further afield and overnight stays.

This is afield-based role covering the Midlands area of the UK, ideal for an engineer with aprecision/mechanical backgroundwho thrives on working independently and enjoys delivering outstanding customer service on-site.

Hours of Work

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities of a Service Engineer

• Represent the client at customer premises with professionalism and technical expertise.
• Installmeasuring equipment across customer sites.
• Service, calibrate, and repairhigh-accuracy systems.
• Diagnose and resolvemechanical and electrical faults.

Key Requirements of a Service Engineer

• HNC/BTEC or equivalent in an engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience.
• Full, valid UK driving license.
• Strong communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
• Background inprecision/mechanical engineering.
• Practical,hands-on experiencewith mechanical systems.
• Experience infault-findingand using electrical test equipment.
• Completion of atechnical apprenticeship, or a BTEC including electrical modules.
• Strongtime managementand interpersonal skills.
• Looking forlong-term career stabilityand consistency.
