Engineering at BT is a large, multi-disciplinary professional services practice organized into key customer-focused capabilities, each comprising various engineering delivery projects.

The purpose of this role is to support the GSS organization by delivering customer networks, platforms, and systems to support ourselves and specialized clients.
You will deliver and operate these services within agreed performance standards, contractual agreements, timescales, and budgets.
This role is based in London but involves international assignment abroad. It is onsite, five days a week, on client site, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. You must be eligible to obtain DV (Mod) Clearance and have lived in the UK for over 10 years to qualify.
What you'll be doing- Accountable: Responsible for a significant area of work, including technical responsibilities.
- Accountable: Setting technical objectives and delegating responsibilities.
- Leadership: Influencing a large part of the organization, including resourcing and technical direction.
- Leadership: Managing site issues and resolving problems.
- Leadership: Providing technical coaching and mentoring.
- Installing power systems-AC & DC power, UPS, HVAC-with current electrical qualifications.
- Experience as Clerk of Works, delivering construction projects and site upgrades.
- Knowledge of transmission networks and management platforms.
- Managing multiple projects, performing under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
- Working with stakeholders to capture requirements clearly.
- Extensive experience in technical delivery.
- Leadership and project delivery experience.
