Job Description

Job Title: Field Operations Manager - Community Delivery Programme
Location: London, UK (5 days per week onsite)
Duration: Until 30th April 2026

Are you passionate about logistics and making a positive impact in your community? We are seeking a motivated and experienced Field Operations Manager to lead the delivery and growth of an innovative Community Delivery Programme that connects local charities with those in need.

About the Role:

As Field Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operational delivery of a programme designed to support local communities through the distribution of essential items such as meals and supplies from food banks and non-profit organisations.

You will work closely with charity partners, delivery teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure safety, efficiency, and scalability. This is a hands-on role requiring both data-driven insights and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate potential charity partners to ensure alignment with operational requirements.
  • Lead the onboarding of new partners, implementing systems and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor performance metrics and conduct site audits to maintain high operational standards.
  • Develop and drive initiatives focused on safety, quality, and delivery partner experience.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for operational issues, ensuring rapid and effective solutions.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, solve problems, and recommend improvements.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including SOPs and safety guidelines.

What We're Looking For:

  • Prior experience in operations, project or programme management.
  • Strong Excel skills (including Pivot Tables and VLookUp); SQL knowledge is advantageous.
  • Experience using data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Experience reporting to senior leadership and driving results independently.
