Field CTO (Networks)

Overview

A leading professional services organisation is looking to appoint a networking-focused Field CTO to shape the future of enterprise and data centre networking. This is a highly influential role that combines deep technical expertise with the ability to influence executive stakeholders, advise on large-scale transformation programmes, develop and strengthen strategic vendor relationships, and define the next generation of networking strategy across AI, cloud and modern datacentre environments. You will act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs and senior infrastructure leaders, serving as the technical go-to for the vendor community. You will lead strategic customer engagements, help shape technology direction, and represent the business as a recognised industry thought leader.

Responsibilities

• Advise on large-scale networking transformation programmes and define future networking strategy across AI, cloud and modern datacentre environments.
• Influence executive stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs and senior infrastructure leaders.
• Lead strategic customer engagements and shape technology direction for enterprise and data centre networks.
• Strengthen strategic vendor relationships and represent the business as a recognised industry thought leader.

Qualifications

• Senior/Lead Network Architect with significant experience in designing and delivering data centre and enterprise network solutions.
• CCIE or CCDE certification preferred.
