Female Personal Assistant for a Joyful Autistic Child

Disability North is seeking a caring, calm Female Personal Assistant to support Melody, a 7-year-old girl with ASD and Global Developmental Delay, at home and in the community near Great Park, Newcastle upon Tyne. The role involves a 24-hour period to allow Mum time away from home.

The successful candidate will help Melody with daily activities, safety, personal care and developing life skills, with a focus on patience, empathy and gentle, proactive support during difficult moments.
