Job Summary:

Rebound Care and Support are seeking to recruit flexible, energetic, and proactive female rehabilitation support workers with experience in childcare and spinal injury care to support our young (8 y. o.), very active client who lives with his family in South Woodford, London . This is a 1:1 role focusing on providing personalised, person-centred support to enhance his independence and overall well-being.

The role involves supporting rehabilitation therapies , assisting with personal care , helping to maintain daily structure , and encouraging community engagement and participation in activities. Experience in physiotherapy or rehabilitation exercises would be a strong advantage.

You will also be required to drive the client to school, appointments, and leisure activities - therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential .

Hours:

07:00 - 21:00 Monday to Friday. (With occasional weekend shifts available on a bank basis only).

Pay:

Monday - Friday - £241.00

Saturday - £259.00

Sunday - £280.00

Responsibilities

Following personalised support plans and risk assessments
Assist individuals in accessing community to improve their quality of life.
Support individuals in setting and achieving their personal goals.
Provide guidance and support to the client, ensuring best practices and a person-centered approach.
Assist with medication management and help service users attend health appointments.
Ensure accurate record-keeping of all support provided, maintaining professional and respectful documentation.
Support with physiotherapy and other therapeutic exercises (experience in this area is highly desirable).
Drive the client to school, appointments, and community outings
Provide respectful personal care in line with the client's individual needs.

Experience

We are looking for supportive, patient, energetic, proactive and committed team members to provide the care throughout the day. The ideal candidates will need to have experience in working with SI clients, (paediatric/ childcare experience), active, attention to detail and have a can-do attitude.

Training & Background Checks

An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
