£18.36 per hour

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic candidate to joining our team providing quality teaching to our students studying English on GCSE and Functional Skills courses.

The ideal candidate will have English qualification above level 3, plus a teaching qualification.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Contribute to delivering learning, assessment and teaching across English programmes - with a specific focus on (but not limited to):
• GCSE English Higher/Foundation Tier
• Functional Skills English Entry Level 1 - Level 2
• To support student progress through tuition, assessment and guidance
• To complete and maintain student individual learning plans and other records connected to learning and progression.
• To be responsible for the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children wherever applicable within the role.

In addition, being able to demonstrate initiative, organisational skills, attention to detail and a flexible approach to the needs of our learners will be highly advantageous.
