Are you passionate about sustainable agriculture and committed to nurturing the next generation of agricultural learners? We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Farm Manager/Tutor to oversee the daily operations of Llettytwppa Farm and deliver high-quality agricultural education.
This unique residential role offers the opportunity to live on-site at a fully operational farm while playing a key role in shaping agricultural training and development in Ceredigion.
Key Responsibilities:
- manage day-to-day farm operations, including crop and livestock care
- maintain and oversee farm equipment and infrastructure
- supervise and mentor learners in both theoretical and practical agricultural activities
- promote and implement sustainable farming practices aligned with the farm's strategic objectives
- plan and manage farm finances and production to meet budget targets
- ensure full compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
- lead the farm's engagement with relevant government schemes, including the Sustainable Farming Scheme
- design, develop, and deliver high-quality training programmes for schools, traineeships, and apprenticeships in line with awarding body requirements
