An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated stockperson to manage a large-scale mixed upland unit comprising of 1,000 breeding ewes (Blackface and Cheviot) and a herd of pedigree Native Angus on a renowned sporting estate with a particular focus on Red Deer and Grouse.

The successful candidate will have a keen interest and experience with beef cattle and hill sheep and good working dogs will be essential.

The successful candidate will manage all aspects in the day to day running of the flock and be responsible for all seasonal and contracting teams. With assistance, you will also be responsible for the grassland management of 150 hectares of inbye land and work as part of a team to deliver a large-scale moorland management plan to complement the sporting management undertaken on the Estate.
