Farm Manager - North London - £41,000-£44,000 + Benefits

An opportunity for an experienced Farm Manager to take responsibility for the day to day running of the farm, a diverse organic mixed farming operation. You'll play a key role in developing the Farm's livestock, market garden, commercial and educational activities, while leading a small team and helping deliver a sustainable and successful farming enterprise.
The business operates 7 days a week, so the role includes rota based weekend, evening and bank holiday work, with occasional on call duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee livestock health, welfare, breeding and seasonal activities
- Manage organic crop production, harvesting and supply to the farm shop and veg scheme
- Lead and support staff, volunteers and students
- Operate and oversee tractors, machinery and farm equipment
- Manage farm budgets, resources and suppliers
- Maintain high standards of animal welfare, health & safety and organic compliance
- Support practical agricultural training, educational activities and community projects
- Develop sustainable and commercially successful farming opportunities
- Level 3 Agriculture qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Strong livestock and general farm-management experience
- Experience in organic, regenerative or sustainable farming
- Experience operating tractors and agricultural machinery
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team
- Good knowledge of animal welfare, health & safety and farm compliance
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A full UK driving licence
- flexible approach and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Salary £41,000-£44,000
- 32 days' annual leave, including bank holidays, with an additional 5 days after four years' service

All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
