Job Opportunity: Family Law Solicitor - NQ+

Location: Saltcoats, North Ayrshire

Overview:

An established local practice is seeking a Family Law Solicitor to join its growing team. This role offers the chance to manage a broad range of family matters, work closely with clients in the community and progress your career within a supportive and respected firm.

Role Requirements:

• Managing a varied caseload including divorce, financial provision, cohabitation and child contact/residence
• Representing clients in the Sheriff Court and, where required, the Court of Session
• Providing clear, empathetic advice and maintaining excellent service standards
• Supporting business development, networking and local community engagement

Experience:

• Scottish-qualified Solicitor (NQ+ welcomed)
• Experience in family law, including Legal Aid and private client work
• Confident advocacy skills and ability to progress cases independently

Skills:

• Clear communicator with a client-focused approach
• Organised, proactive and comfortable handling sensitive matters
• Able to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
