Private Family Solicitor - Legal 500 Firm
Location: Chester (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: Highly Competitive DOE
PQE: 3+ Years
Working Pattern: Full-Time, Permanent

I'm currently working with a well-regarded Legal 500 firm with a strong presence across the North West, who are looking to recruit a talented Private Family Solicitor to join their growing team based in Chester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced family lawyer to join a modern, client-focused team that handles high-quality private family matters. The role offers a flexible hybrid working model, a supportive environment, and a clear pathway for progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters, including:


• Divorce and separation


• Financial remedy proceedings (including HNW cases)


• Private children matters


• Pre- and post-nuptial agreements


• Cohabitation and separation agreements


• Advising clients with empathy and professionalism


• Conducting advocacy where appropriate


• Engaging in business development and maintaining strong client relationships


• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 3 years PQE in private family law


• Strong technical ability in handling complex financial and children cases


• Excellent communication and client-care skills


• A proactive, organised, and solution-focused approach


• Experience working with HNW clients or exposure to Legal 500-level work is desirable


• Comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player
