Salary & Pay : Grade 7 SP 11; £32,070 pa FTE; £19,009.66 pa Actual Salary
Hours: 22.5 hours per week Monday to Friday; 43 weeks per year
About the Role Key responsibilities:- Act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), working closely with the Headteacher and DSL.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families, particularly those who are hardest to reach.
- Provide early intervention and tailored support for families experiencing challenges such as financial hardship, domestic violence, and mental health concerns.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions for children, supporting positive behaviour and wellbeing.
- Work closely with the SENCo and external agencies to support children with additional needs.
- Improve attendance and signpost families to appropriate services.
- Passionate about improving outcomes for children and families.
- Empathetic, approachable, and able to build positive relationships quickly.
- Experienced in safeguarding, child protection, and multi agency working.
- Confident in supporting children with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
- Organised, resilient, and able to manage a varied and challenging workload.
- Part time may be considered for the right candidate.
