We're looking for a Family Help Lead Practitioner to join our team in Tameside and play a crucial role in the supervision and support of family time between children and their loved ones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assess family time sessions in line with court orders and agency referrals.
- Provide accurate, timely recordings of sessions and interactions.
- Complete assessments for use in court proceedings and attend court where required.
- Manage your own caseload, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding procedures.
- Provide transport as outlined in care plans.
- Support children in care to maintain and build positive relationships with family members.
- Participate in team supervision, development activities, and relevant meetings.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Care of Children and Young People.
- Experience working directly with children and families, particularly in safeguarding and looked-after contexts.
- Strong communication, assessment, and recording skills.
- A sound understanding of child development, attachment theory, and care planning processes.
