Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join the new Best Start Family Hub Programme. The role will develop over the life of the programme. We welcome your existing knowledge, skills and experience to shape the universal offer and integration of services to ensure all children get the best start in life.

Responsibilities

As a Best Start Family Hub Practitioner you will undertake an active role working with integrated partners and local communities to achieve best outcomes for children and families.

You will be responsible for the delivery of activities and interventions across the Best Start Family Hub Network.

There is a substantive role of Family Support Worker within this position which will be discussed at interview.

You will be required to work across the following Family Hubs:

• Best Start Family Hub Brierley Hill
• Best Start Family Hub Dudley
• Best Start Family Hub Coseley
• Best Start Family Hub Halesowen
• Best Start Family Hub Stourbridge

Qualifications and Experience

We require an enthusiastic and motivated practitioner who can build effective relationships with children, young people, families and partners. You should be able to provide direct support to help children, young people, and families through delivery of the family support offer.

Working Conditions

Workplace attendance: Working in the office 3+ days a week (pro-rata) or Onsite full time.
