General Description The University of York, a globally recognised Russell Group university from the UK, is establishing its Mumbai Campus, scheduled to open in September 2026. To build the founding academic team, applications are invited for multiple full-time faculty positions across Business & Finance, Economics & Health Economics, Computer Science, Environment & Sustainability, and Culture & Creative Technologies.

These roles offer a unique opportunity to contribute to world-class teaching, impactful research, and community engagement in one of India's most dynamic cities. Faculty members will collaborate closely with distinguished colleagues from York, UK, and shape the academic foundation of this landmark international venture.

Eligibility Criteria

• A Ph.D. in the relevant discipline (or equivalent professional expertise for positions such as Professor of Practice).
• Strong research and teaching credentials, with evidence of scholarly impact.
• For senior faculty positions (Associate Professor and Professor), substantial post-Ph.D. experience and leadership in research and academic service are expected.
• International exposure, publications in reputed journals, and experience in curriculum development will be considered an advantage.

Required Expertise & Skills

• Business & Finance : Corporate finance, banking, investments, financial management, business analytics.
• Computer Science : Artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, software engineering, systems security.
• Environment & Sustainability : Climate change studies, sustainability science, renewable energy, environmental management.
