Job Description
On behalf of our client in Co. Louth, Red Chair Recruitment are seeking an experienced factory operative with sheet metal and press brake/folding machine expertise. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Operate folding machines, press brakes, guillotines, and packaging equipment
- Support efficient production in line with quality standards and schedules
- Maintain excellent attention to detail
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and wear PPE
- Complete required training (e.g., Manual Handling)
- Remain flexible across manufacturing areas
- Demonstrate strong punctuality and attendance (references required)
- Minimum 1-year relevant skilled experience in steel manufacturing environments
- Press brake/folding machine experience is desirable
- Comfortable with touchscreen technology
- Strong initiative and time management
