The Job You'll Do
  • Reporting to the General Manager, the Factory Manager is responsible for Production, including Warehouse and Hygiene (Dayshift & Nightshift).
  • Overseeing all aspects of daily production and facilitating effective collaboration.
  • Ensuring that the facility operates to Company standards in Health & Safety, food safety, sustainability and environment.
  • Utilising the ERP system to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Ensure production plans are delivered on time, in full, and to required quality standards
  • Drive improvements in efficiency, yield and waste reduction.
  • Manage recruitment and training of production, warehouse and hygiene teams.
  • Closely liaise with the Supply Chain, Technical, NPD, H&S and HR departments
  • Lead staff engagement and manage in line with company values
  • Crisis Management
About You
  • Proven experience in a Managerial role within Food/Drink/FMCG (highly desirable)
  • Relevant technical qualifications are desirable, but not essential (Degree, HND, HND etc.)
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to motivate, inspire and guide teams to achieve goals
  • Experience improving processes, productivity and performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of health & safety and regulatory compliance
  • Comfortable working with ERP systems and production data
