Working Pattern (Term Time): Monday - Thursday 06:45 - 16:30, Friday 06:45 - 13:00
Working Pattern (Non Term Time): Monday - Friday 08:00 - 12:00
As a Facilities Technician with the City of Edinburgh Council, you will be a key member of our Facilities Management team, delivering vital janitorial services across the estate to keep the properties safe places to work or learn. ResponsibilitiesYou will undertake day to day FM, janitorial and DIY operations across buildings, from small repairs and general maintenance to reactive cleaning, supporting moves and conducting basic security functions.

- Cleaning and tidying
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. You must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more abroad in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check is required and must be provided. Offer and commencement are contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
