An opportunity has arisen for a 37.5 hour post for a Facilities Team Leader to join our busy team within Facilities and based at Prince Charles Hospital.
This Team Leader position will predominantly support the operational service for the Caffi CF47 Coffee Shop within Prince Charles Hospital.
The position will involve contributing to the provision of healthcare for the Cwm Taf Morgnnwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) by delivering a support services which meets all organisational and legislative standards and support the Facilities Unit commitment to a safety and quality services framework.
This position is monthly paid.
Main duties of the jobThe Team Leader will provide professional guidance and lead a team of supervisors and staff responsible for service delivery, quality and monitoring and improving efficiency within the Facilities Departments and at ward and department level at community hospital and healthcare settings.
The post holder will operate as first line manager for specific services namely; Catering, Housekeeping and Porter Services ensuring that services are delivered to agreed specification, resources are adequate and available, staffing levels are maintained. The duties of this post will be predominantly Catering.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesnt mean essential; whilst the candidate doesnt need to have skills in Welsh,we'll consider it an advantage when short listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health. Person Specification Qualifications and specialist training- Education to a good standard of education or equivalent experience up to Level 3 NVQ
- National Cleaning Standards
- Able to demonstrate literacy, numerical and comprehension skills
- Worked within a hotel services environment
- Welsh Language Skills (Level 3 and above/B2)
