Facilities Supervisor

R&D Partners is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to join a leading pharmaceutical company in ROI. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage facility and utility equipment maintenance while ensuring compliance with cGMP, GDP, and EHS standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, maintenance, and validation activities within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned preventative maintenance for all facility and utility equipment.
• Maintain engineering qualification and validation records in compliance with cGMP and GDP requirements.
• Coordinate with design consultants and user departments for facility and utility equipment design.
• Prepare and review GMP documents, SOPs, protocols, and PMs related to the Engineering department.
• Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in facility, utility, and manufacturing areas.
• Apply EHS policies and procedures, including contractor safety and work permits.
• Use permit-to-work systems or other safety systems to control maintenance activities.
• Minimize breakdown time of facility and utility equipment/systems efficiently.
• Oversee qualification, requalification, and validation activities for equipment.
• Perform FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ activities for newly installed equipment/systems.
• Identify and implement improvements in equipment maintainability and reliability.
• Manage calibration processes for utilities equipment/systems.
• Supervise facilities technicians and contractors, ensuring timely and compliant task completion.
• Be flexible to address on site engineering needs as they arise.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities management, maintenance, and validation within a pharmaceutical or regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and EHS standards.
• Experience with FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ activities.
• Ability to prepare and review GMP documentation, SOPs, and protocols.
• Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and on site needs.
• Leadership experience managing technicians and contractors is a plus.

Salary

• €55 000.00 - €60 000.00/Annum
