Job Description
Overview

Facilities Project Management Company: Boeing United Kingdom Limited. An exciting opportunity to lead the facilities operation, maintenance and workplace services for Boeing's Gatwick commercial campus, ensuring a safe, compliant and efficient environment that supports commercial aircraft teams and site visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a facilities strategy for the Gatwick campus aligned with commercial operations, budget targets and sustainability goals.
  • Manage all facilities related systems and services: HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, access control and building automation for multiple buildings on campus.
  • Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programmes and manage SLAs with contractors.
  • Lead small capital and fit-out projects for office areas, training rooms and visitor facilities.
  • Coordinate space planning, office moves, meeting rooms, and contractor activities to minimize disruption to commercial operations.
  • Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, health and safety legislation and fire safety.
  • Control facilities budgets, track spending, produce forecasts and identify cost-savings and energy efficiency opportunities.
  • Schedule contractors, manage contractor inductions, and ensure all contractors follow Gatwick campus safety and security procedures.
  • Support fire drills, site safety inspections and contractor audits. Manage performance of external contractors.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary contractors and budgets.
  • Administrative experience in facilities, property or FM services.
  • Strong organization, communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work on-site at Gatwick and undertake required site inductions/security checks.
Preferred Qualifications (Desirable)
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical, mechanical or building services trade.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in electromechanical engineering.
  • NEBOSH qualification.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to obtain campus and background checks required by Gatwick operations.
Working Conditions & Additional Requirements
  • Site-based role at Gatwick campus; occasional travel to other Boeing UK locations.
  • Some out-of-hours availability for emergencies and projects.
  • Compliance with Boeing policies and induction procedures (may include DBS/basic background checks and site-specific training).
