An "Outstanding" School in the Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham are on the hunt for a Facilities Manager for a 2026 start. This is a term-time-only role, with the school employing you directly.

The school are keen to find a Facilities Manager with proven maintenance skills and experience. As a Facilities Manager it is essential you understand the importance of health and safety and is willing to undertake a broad range of facilities maintenance and support tasks to help ensure the smooth running of the school, creating a safe and conducive environment for students and staff to thrive.

Facilities Manager Job Description:

• Overseeing the maintenance and security of the school premises and grounds
• Conducting regular health and safety checks, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Managing a team of 4 Caretakers, providing leadership, guidance, and support
• Coordinating maintenance and repair works, liaising with external contractors as necessary
• Managing budgets and resources effectively to ensure optimal facility management
• Handling administrative tasks including paperwork and record-keeping
• ASAP Start
• Term Time Only - Full Time
• Salary: £40,000 - £60,000

Facilities Manager Requirements:

• Proven experience in facilities management or a related field, experience in a school is desirable, but not essential
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Competent in IT with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Advanced/good understanding of health and safety (checks)
• Ability to work flexibly, adapting to changing priorities and schedules
• COSHH Certificate required
