Facilities Manager

Vox Consultants are currently looking for an Estates Hub Manager - this is a remote role within West London.

Role Details:

• The role is full time: 36 hours per week, all year round - hours are usually 8am-4pm.
• The role will oversee compliance (H&S etc) and facilities, including cleaning, of five primary schools in Hayes (UB3), West Drayton (UB7), Iver (SL0), Slough (SL2), and High Wycombe (HP13). Schools are within a 30-minute drive of each other.
• Each school has at least one Premises Assistant and a team of cleaners.
• There are five other schools within the Trust, each with their own Premises Manager. The current Premises Managers support each other, and the Estates Hub Manager is expected to join this network and support in the absence of the Head of Estates.
• The role will mainly involve oversight and people management, but during busy periods or absences, the postholder will need to support sites with manual DIY-level tasks.
• The postholder will likely work at one school each day but will need to arrange site visits as required.
• Due to the location and distance of our sites, the postholder must have access to their own transport.
• Expenses can be claimed for travel between schools during the day but not for commuting to and from a school at the start and end of the day.

This is a newly established role for our Trust, and we plan to engage a worker through an agency for up to 12 months. If successful, the role may become permanent, and the worker could be considered for the position.
