Role: Facilities Management (FM) Helpdesk OfficerPayrate: £18.22 PAYE £23.71 Umbrella 35 hours per weekLocation: Working onsite, London Borough of Harrow Forward Drive, Harrow, Middlesex, HA3 8NTThe London Borough of Harrow is looking for a proactive and customer focused FM Helpdesk Officer to join their busy Facilities Management team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys being at the centre of operations.About the Role:As an FM Helpdesk Officer, you will act as the first point of contact for all facilities related enquiries across the council's estate. You'll manage incoming requests, coordinate with contractors and internal teams, and ensure issues are logged, prioritised, and resolved efficiently.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage helpdesk enquiries via phone, email, and internal systems
- Log and prioritise maintenance requests to ensure timely resolution
- Liaise with contractors and FM teams to coordinate works and follow ups
- Monitor service performance and escalate issues where required
- Maintain accurate records and update the CAFM system
- Provide excellent customer service to staff, visitors, and stakeholders
