Job Description

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (flexible start/finish times available)

This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, proactive individual to join a well-established engineering manufacturer as a Facilities Maintenance Assistant.

Working as part of a small, friendly maintenance team, you'll help keep a modern manufacturing facility operating safely and efficiently, carrying out a wide range of building maintenance, repairs and site improvements. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone with general maintenance experience looking to develop their skills.

£30,000 - £32,000 salary (depending on experience)

Facilities Maintenance Assistant Duties

Carrying out general building and facilities maintenance
Completing repairs to the building, fixtures and site infrastructure
Performing routine inspections across the factory and grounds
Responding to day-to-day maintenance issues
Assisting with preventative maintenance and improvement projects
Liaising with external contractors when required
Helping maintain a clean, safe and compliant working environment
Supporting maintenance activities at other nearby company sites when required

Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
