We're looking for an experienced professional to take charge as Facilities Lead with a growing and progressive organisation. This is a key, hands on role for someone who already has a proven background in managing facilities and leading teams-perfect if you want to make your mark with an employer focused on sustainability and continuous improvement.
Your New Job:As Facilities Lead, you'll be responsible for overseeing all site facilities and infrastructure, coordinating maintenance and improvement works, and managing a skilled team. You'll ensure buildings and services run smoothly and remain fully compliant, all while supporting a positive, proactive working environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:- Manage site facilities, including buildings, grounds, and utilities
- Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and facilitate repairs and upgrades
- Lead a small team, assigning tasks and promoting a culture of accountability
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are met
- Handle supplier contracts and maintain accurate records
- Drive sustainability, energy management, and waste reduction initiatives
- Deliver and oversee facility related projects and upgrades
- Recognised qualification or robust experience in Facilities Management, Engineering, Energy Management, or a similar area
- Alternatively, a relevant trade qualification and significant hands on experience
- Experience Leading facilities related capital expenditure (CapEx) projects from planning through to completion
- Up-to date knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office Suite
