Facilities Assistant

Job Overview

Two part time Facilities Assistant posts (30 hours each) are open at Broadford Hospital. The role involves supporting Catering, Laundry and Domestic services, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and infection control, and meeting NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specifications and Waste Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of service and cleanliness in line with local infection control policies, Covid 19 guidance and NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification.
• Meet specified cleaning schedules and promote a clean environment.
• Carry out catering duties including regeneration of meals, preparation of salads, sandwiches and snacks.
• Provide laundry services to the standard of NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specifications.

Working Hours & Availability

These are permanent part time posts, available Mon Fri with weekend coverage if required. The work is based at Broadford Hospital and may be required at Portree Hospital. Full induction and training will be provided.

Pay

Hourly rate from £14.22 an hour with an attractive weekend working rate.
