We are seeking a Facilities Assistant to join our Estates team.

In this role, you will contribute to the effective delivery of facilities services across the University, supporting staff, students, and visitors in a range of operational areas. These include recycling and waste management, storage, postal services, furniture moves and setups, fire alarm testing and evacuation support, security, minor maintenance, and upholding campus standards. This is predominantly on our East Park centre campus, but there will be occasional opportunity to work at one of satellite sites.

You will work closely with colleagues as part of a supportive and collaborative Estates Facilities team. The role operates on a three-week rotating shift pattern, which includes one Saturday every three weeks and attracts a 10% shift allowance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer-focused environment, be physically fit, with some background in facilities or premises work being an advantage. Please note that this role includes driving duties, so a valid driving licence is essential.
